Since 1996, the GRU Ryan White Outreach Team has provided free, confidential HIV testing, counseling and treatment referrals at testing sites throughout the Aiken-Augusta area.

The mission of the outreach team is to provide early intervention. Early detection and early treatment are key factors to living with HIV/AIDS. Thanks to advances in treatment, those diagnosed with HIV/AIDS can now live long and productive lives, if they receive proper, regular treatment.

The team is supported by a Ryan White Part C Grant and your generous donations.

We use the OraQuick Advance Rapid HIV antibody test, a simple oral test that only requires a swab of the inside of the mouth and is developed on-site. Confidential results are available after 20 minutes.
